Vetboard Victoria newsletter - November 2022
The latest edition of Vetboard Victoria's newsletter introduces new Board President Dr John Harte and the other members of the Ninth Board appointed for the 2022-2025 term.
We provide an update on government preparation for veterinary emergencies and some biosecurity updates, including advice of biosecurity-related changes to livestock legislation.
Under recent changes to the Domestic Animals Act 1994, all vets can now participate in reuniting pets with their owners. The newsletter contains reporting and implementation material for participating vets.
In lieu of a case study, the Board provides guidance on how vets can manage client expectations in relation to dental treatment of animals and some reflections on veterinary CPD following the 2022-23 registration renewal period.
