New Minister, 9th Vet Board, and approved persons eligible to sit on Board hearing panels

On 27 June 2022, The Hon. Gayle Tierney MLC was sworn in as Victorian Minister for Agriculture replacing The Hon. Mary-Anne Thomas MP.

On 18 June 2022, the 9th Veterinary Practitioners Registration Board of Victoria commenced a 3-year term which will run to 17 June 2025.

The members of the 9th Vet Board are:
  • President Dr John Harte (registered veterinary practitioner)
  • Deputy President Dr Kate Clarke (registered veterinary practitioner)
  • Dr Charlie Blackwood (registered veterinary practitioner)
  • Dr Tracey Bradley (registered veterinary practitioner, Crown appointment)
  • Dr David Colson (registered veterinary practitioner)
  • Ms Kerry Harris (not a veterinary practitioner)
  • Mr Andrew Jaworski (lawyer)
  • Mrs Naomi Pye (not a veterinary practitioner)
  • Professor Josh Slater (registered veterinary practitioner, University of Melbourne appointment).
