Minister for Agriculture's Statement of Expectations

Ministerial statements of expectations aim to improve regulatory governance and performance. Statements of Expectations articulate the Victorian Government's priorities and objectives for each of its regulators. Regulators report annually on actions taken in response to these expectations.

Each Statement of Expectations is developed collaboratively and in consultation with the regulator, to ensure the statement is fit for purpose and takes into account the regulator's circumstances, including objectives, legislative basis, the size of the organisation, and current practices and processes.
